Club career

During his career, journeyman Mrdaković started playing football for FK Radnički Niš and FK Partizan, at youth level. At the age of 16, he moved to Belgium with R.S.C. Anderlecht where he finished his junior formation, but never appeared in the league for the Brussels club.

From 2002 onwards, Mrdaković never settled with a team, going on to play in seven countries other than his own, whilst representing V.C. Eendracht Aalst 2002 (loaned by Anderlecht), OFK Beograd (two spells), K.A.A. Gent, FC Red Bull Salzburg, FC Metalist Kharkiv, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Vitória de Guimarães, Shandong Luneng Taishan, Apollon Limassol, Ethnikos Achna FC (loaned by Apollon) and AEK Larnaca FC.

International career

Mrdaković made appearances for Serbia's U-13, U-16, U-18 and U-21 national teams.

In 2008, after a solid season in Guimarães, helping his club finish third straight out of the second division, he was selected as one of the overage players for the 2008 Summer Olympics, as the national side exited in the group stages.[1]
